FAQ
What do you mean by grass-fed/finished beef?
Pasture-raised on our 1,400-acre farm and never given added hormones, our cattle are raised entirely on grass and forage from weaning to harvesting.
How often do you harvest?
We strive to have a summer and fall harvest each year. Because grass-finished beef takes longer to produce and requires more land and labor, we may only hold one larger harvest a year. Join our mailing list to stay up to date on yearly harvest dates!
Do you only sell beef?
Currently, we sell beef and pasture-raised eggs available from our laying hens! As our offerings expand, we will be sure to update the website to showcase them.
How much meat is in a whole, half, or quarter cow?
Approximately 400 pounds of beef for a whole cow. While farmers have target weights, cattle are not perfect clones of each other. The amount of meat you will receive in a whole, half, or quarter cow depends on what that specific animal yields.
Do you require a deposit?
Depending on the number of cattle ready for harvest and the number of folks on the waitlist for that season, we may require a deposit. Feel free to contact us for further information.
